Get lost in the hedge maze, then race to find the way out before everyone else. Little explorers can take on the smaller mazes in the Games Garden at their own pace. -
Follow the boardwalks as they wind through native tea-tree and out over the water. It’s the quiet side of the park, where the only noise is birdsong and the odd frog chorus after rain. Look out for swans, pelicans, herons and spoonbills on the lakes, and keep your eyes peeled for skinks soaking up the sun. Slow down, look closely and let the wetlands surprise you.

We're sitting on a land of discovery.
Boneo sits right alongside Tootgarook Swamp, the largest freshwater wetland left in the Port Phillip and Western Port region, close to 320 hectares of it still intact today.
More than 240 native plant species grow there, and over 100 bird species rely on it, some of them migratory birds significant enough to be protected under international agreements.
Threatened species like the Australasian Bittern and the Swamp Skink still live in it, animals most people on the Peninsula have never heard of, let alone seen. It really is a magical world of discovery.
